Tech notes: On my first photo attempt, I used an 8mp camera phone, but the resolution was too low to make a good comic. On my second attempt, I shot in RAW with a large sensor camera using a wide angle lens. The wide angle didn’t really work, and it was a typical June-Gloom day, so the comic came out dark, drab, and distorted. On my third and final shot, I showed up late one afternoon when the marine layer had finally burned off, and this time I shot with a 40mm (normal) lens and took 2 photos in landscape orientation and then later stitched them together–Bingo!

Wow! I haven’t been by in awhile. Thanks for the update. I’m so glad they’re going for something unique architecturally. Can’t wait to go in that place.

Me too, I have a feeling I’m going to be spending a lot of time in there…
