    • Too funny.

Hey, I’m right there with you, I wanna eat the stuff that tastes good, but I’ve suffered for so long for doing that, in terms of low-energy, dull-wittedness, and low-grade emotions, that I feel like I don’t have much of a choice anymore but to finally address my diet in earnest.

I’ve been eating pretty well since July 4th—I’m still remembering Zoltan’s delicious dinner at your place—and, given my track record, I could very well be back to my old ways before long, but now that I’ve incorporated this fantabulous new exercise regimen into my life [see blog post “Swim!”], I’m feeling a lot more in control of my diet, like I have the proper energy to devote to eating better. I just wanna feel good, dammit!

I used to make those. Very filling and very tasty. But lately I’ve been doing a lot of grating. Grated beet (microwaved for 2 min.), grated cucumber, grated zucchini, some tamari and olive oil and voilà a skinny lunch.
